Just a solid selection for a city escape in St Newlyn East with value for price. Waking up to turkeys and chickens was a delightful surprise. Drive slowly on the bumpy road coming in.

Bell tents spacious, heated blanket, ample power sockets available
One shower is simply not enough for the space!!! No antibacterial soap in wooden toilet cubicle creates a hygiene concern. Suggestion, provide small storage for personal items in tents!!! Why no accessible sink while preparing breakfast?

The trek to the toilet was a bit of an adventure, especially at night during rain. not ideal for everyone. The cabin felt a bit chilly during breakfast, which was a tad uncomfortable. I expected more from the breakfast menu, particularly missing items like juice and pastries that were advertised. it caught me off guard being in a field rather than a traditional room, but it’s a memorable experience that might not suit all tastes.

Perfect glamping getaway!
We spent a week here and loved it! The setting in the countryside is so beautiful, and the bell tent was huge and comfy, especially with the electric blankets. The hot shower was a nice touch, and the breakfast room had lots of tasty options. Just wish there was a bit more privacy around the shared areas, though.

The gardens were beautifully maintained, providing a serene backdrop for our stay. We greatly enjoyed the spacious tent equipped with all necessary amenities. our last night was disrupted by loud music and chaos from other guests running around late. the rooster from the free-roaming animals served as an early wake-up call. Despite these issues, the overall atmosphere and friendly host contributed to a pleasant experience.

we had an amazin stay in the deluxe suite. the whole place was super comfy and felt close to nature with chickens and ducks runnin around everywhere. the hosts were really friendly and the self-service breakfast was really chill, we just helped ourselves! the honesty shop was a lifesaver for a few things we forgot. honestly, i’d def come back again!
only thing was 1 shower might be kinda busy when full. also, the road to get there was pretty bumpy, so drive careful.

My stay at Penhallow House was delightful! Surrounded by nature, the serenity offered a perfect escape from London. Breakfast in the cozy wood house was a highlight. A bit of noise during music night was a minor distraction, but overall, I would absolutely return.

The garden view from the double room offered a nice ambiance, making mornings feel refreshing. The spacious layout provided ample room for relaxation, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Having just one shower for twenty or more guests felt inadequate, especially during peak times. The single-track road leading up to the hotel is riddled with potholes, creating a rather bumpy experience and a possible strain on vehicle suspension. the grounds surrounding the tent lacked maintenance with overgrown grass, and on chilly nights, the absence of heat made it quite uncomfortable.
